2023 Adamawa State Governorship Election
Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri (PDP) was declared winner of the 18 March 2023 Adamawa State governorship election with 430,861 votes, ahead of Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed (APC, 398,788). INEC declared the 18 Mar poll inconclusive on 20 Mar 2023 and declared Ahmadu Fintiri winner on 18 Apr 2023, after INEC nullified the suspended Adamawa REC's announcement for Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed. The Court of Appeal dismissed Ahmed's petition on 18 Dec 2023 and the Supreme Court affirmed Fintiri's election on 31 Jan 2024.
