Nasir Idris (APC) was declared winner of the 18 March 2023 Kebbi State governorship election with 409,225 votes, ahead of Aminu Bande (PDP, 360,940). INEC declared the 18 Mar poll inconclusive on 20 Mar 2023 and declared Nasir Idris winner on 16 Apr 2023. The Court of Appeal upheld his election on 24 Nov 2023 and the Supreme Court dismissed the PDP's appeal on 19 Jan 2024.
