Ahmed Usman Ododo (APC) was declared winner of the 11 November 2023 Kogi State governorship election with 446,237 votes, ahead of Muri Ajaka (SDP, 259,052) and Dino Melaye (PDP, 46,362). The tribunal affirmed Ahmed Ododo's election on 27 May 2024 and the Supreme Court dismissed Murtala Ajaka's appeal on 23 Aug 2024.
