Henry Seriake Dickson is the sitting senator for Bayelsa West. Henry Seriake Dickson, a lawyer, was governor of Bayelsa State from 2012 to 2020 and a member of the House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012; he has represented Bayelsa West since December 2020. He left the PDP for the newly registered Nigeria Democratic Congress in March 2026 and is its candidate for Bayelsa West in 2027.
