Elected chairman of Ovia South West Local Government Area in the 11 July 2026 local government election conducted by the Edo State Independent Electoral Commission on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC); sworn in by Governor Monday Okpebholo on 4 September 2026. Named as the APC's chairmanship candidate for Ovia South West before the poll; the APC won every chairmanship, and no published list of the winners names them individually.
