Accountant; Accountant-General of Rivers State from 2020 to 2022. Elected governor in 2023 on the PDP platform; he was suspended under the federal emergency rule from 18 March to 18 September 2025, joined the APC in December 2025 and withdrew from the APC 2027 governorship primary in May 2026.
