Sworn in by Governor Ahmadu Fintiri as acting Chief Judge of Adamawa State in September 2022, the first woman to head the state judiciary, and confirmed as substantive Chief Judge by the Adamawa State House of Assembly in April 2023. She chairs the state Judicial Service Commission.
